Darling Harbour has undergone an exciting transformation and Eureka Insulation are proud to be part of the redevelopment of it's new Exhibition Centre. The new ICC boasts striking contemporary design and is Australia's largest exhibition space.
For a project of this grandeur, Eureka Insulation was the insulation contractors of choice due to our reputation for quality service and ability to interpret and tailor to unique specifications. We were able to provide solutions to make the application more efficient, and the process more streamlined.
Eureka Insulation supplied 18,000 square metres of insulation which enveloped the building including walls, roofing and specialised acoustic insulation for the loading dock.
The roofing consisted of sandwiched layers of J-clips and insulation. The layers were cut to length and manufactured in stages to be installed when needed. We were also able to make rolls longer than normal, freeing up time for installers and adhering to the unique specifications.
The Exhibition Centre receives loads in their loading bay at all hours of the day and night. It was important for the client that the noise did not affect the Exhibition Centre, or the population of residents and visitors of the Darling Harbour precinct. Eureka Insulation provided specialised acoustic insulation to greatly reduce the effects of reverberation and noise from the loading bay.
The entire project was delivered on-time, on budget and to the unique specification which met the roofers, and the Darling Harbour Exhibition Centre's needs.
