The inner-city suburb of Chippendale is located just 2 kilometres at the southern edge of the Sydney CBD. The eastern part of Chippendale, which is also the nearest to the CBD is filled with small offices and warehouses as well as after-office pubs and cafes. As of late, Chippendale is becoming the creative art district of Sydney because of its galleries and creative arts centres.
