Cecil Park is located 40 kilometres west of Central Sydney. There are only 771 people living in Cecil Park as of 2016. Originally, the land that is now called Cecil Park used to be the abode of the Cabrogal people. The name Cecil Park was inspired by a nearby range that was built in the early 19th century.
