Carnes Hill is a 38-kilometre drive southwest of the Sydney CBD. With the rapid expansion expecting to happen over the next few years, Carnes Hill started several projects in 2016 to build a library, a fitness centre, indoor sports areas, and a community centre to cater to the expected growth of the suburb.
