Carlingford is located 22 kilometres north-west of the sydney CBD. Most of the citizens of Carlingford go shopping and hang out on the commercial areas either in Pennant Hills Road, in the shopping strips in Mobbs Hill, or in Carlingford Court which opened up in 1965 formerly known as Carlingford Village.
