Canterbury is located 10.5 kilometres south-west of the Sydney CBD. Most of the commercial developments in Canterbury are situated in Caterbury Road and its surrpimdomg streets. The ones built in Broughton, Charles, and Close Street are part of the Canterbury Centre Masterplan. Canterbury sure is a suburb that likes its name a lot as it is home to the famous Hotel Canterbury, and the Lumex Canterbury where most of its citizens go shopping.
