Canoelands, Sydney, New South Wales
Canoelands is located 60 kilometres north of the Sydney CBD. The Hornsby Shire Council, the local government of Canoelands, considers this suburb as a Rural Land which menas that holdings must have a minimum area of 10 hectares which can't be subdivided and only one dwelling can be built on each. That may sound strict, however, constructing agricultural buildings are encouraged. The industry in Canoeland are based on agriculture with four commercial plant nurseries and three large stonefruit orchards.
